About the Role

You will work to promote clients to remain independent in their own homes. You will deliver care in the home and other venues, provide a reliable, personal service which meets the individuals personal need and respect confidentiality at all times. Day to day duties include:

  • Personal Care (Showering, Grooming, Toileting and Undressing) Domestic Assistance (Light Household Tasks, Taking care of Errands, etc.)
  • Transportation (taking the client to appointments, etc.)
  • Meal preparation (by following the dietary requirements)
  •  Respite care
  • Should have general medical knowledge of the health conditions, preferred but not required

Job Requirements

  • Actively willing to travel to different client’s residence as per call (evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts) – Expect the unexpected situation
  • NSW Police Check (within 3 years)
  • WWCC desired / Can apply for certification when required
  • Vaccination – COVID-19 Certificate (1 dose completed/ appointment for 2nd dose accepted)
  • Immigration grant VISA or Australian citizenship evidence
  • Willing to obtain or working with Children’s Check
  • Take care of his/her personal hygienic
  • Adhere to NSW Public Health Order Guidelines for COVID-19
  • Weekly COVID-19 Testing as per Public Health Order guidelines

Certification/Licence:

  • You should have Certificate/Diploma or enrolled for Individual Care/Ageing/Disability or Diploma in Nursing
  • Valid NSW driving licence – with CAR CTP AND REGISTRATION
  •  Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Applicants without Vehicles will also be accepted provided they are able to use Public Transport to provide services to Clients at their premises.

 

Additional Requirements

All candidates required to wear PPE, social distancing when required and COVID Testing is required.
