Here at South West Care, our specialty is ‘in-home’ care, with a specific emphasis on upholding the care, respect and value of all the people we work with.
Given the diverse scope of our community, our in-home care service ensures that staff members with specialist skill sets are assigned to each individual client as per their individual needs.
South West Care provides services such as domestic assistance, personal care, emergency/short-term care and respite care. All services provided by South West Care are provided with respect for your dignity and autonomy, and we offer an after-hours number for emergency contact in case you need to change the details of your service, or require quick emergency care assistance.
At South West Care, we take on board how you want to have things done, and we work with flexibility and tolerance with clients to make sure the care you receive from our service is delivered in a manner that suits your needs.
At South West Care, in-home care is our specialty.
Discrete assistance with showering and dressing, grooming, toileting, medication prompts, and other personal needs including continence management and/or hoist/lifting transfers.
Our care workers can assist with light duties that would be usually carried out on a regular basis such as, washing/ironing, running errands, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning bathroom.
We can arrange for a couple of house through to over-night and longer-term respite to provide a break for the primary carer of a family member of loved one who needs constant care or supervision. We have a range of skilled care workers who are able to manage many different behavioural and physical conditions so you can take a break with total peace of mind.
We achieve this by delivering services that are flexible and individually tailored to adults and children living with a disability.
Respite can be provided to carers looking after people with dementia. Skilled carers are selected to enable you to have a break.
Social Support and Transport
Accompanied transport can be provided to medical appointments, shopping centres, or to visit family and friends. We can source vehicles to suit your needs and so you can travel safely and comfortably.
It is important to help aging clients maintain a healthy lifestyle. Our care workers can help plan and cook meals that match the clients specific dietary needs and food preferences.
We provide active overnight and inactive overnight services. This means that the care worker will be staying with the client overnight/sleep-over and carry out various duties and necessary jobs that will help the client.
